In February and March of 2006, we toured Nevada, Arizona, and Utah on a two week trip that started and ended in Las Vegas, NV.

From Vegas, we went by the Hoover Dam, and then across the desert to Scottsdale, AZ. We then traveled the backroads north to visit several national monuments.

We purchased a yearly pass to the national parks and monuments, which was a great bargain for that trip. The most impressive place we visited was definitely the Grand Canyon.

In Utah, there were far more monuments and parks to visit than we had time for, but we did visit Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon, which are two of the best.

Our trip to Texas in April of 2007, also took us to New Mexico.
